We've installed a 7kW, 32A type 2 charger, plus a 13A socket for the exclusive use of visitors.   The points are situated off-road, and are available for your exclusive use for the period of your visit.

Please bring your own cable - either a grannie cable for the 13A socket (which has a 10A RCBO built in) or a type 2 cable that fits into your vehicle at the other end.

Why Stay In Dial Cottage?

Dial Cottage is comfortable and clean, and warm in winter - it's the sort of place you'll be glad to come back to after a day spent discovering the delights of Pembrokeshire.   It's a proper little house where we hope you'll feel completely at home.

Why Pembrokeshire?

If you are looking for an active holiday, South Pembrokeshire is the place to come.   The list of benefits of this area is endless - there are clean, wide sweeping beaches (including our nearby Freshwater East which is never too crowded, even in summer), castles, countryside and coastal walking, and warm, clean fresh air.  There are loads of opportunities for family days out including Heatherton, Manor House Zoo, and Folly Farm. Just a short journey away you'll find the pretty little seaside town of Tenby with it's narrow streets, pastel-coloured houses and myriad little shops.  People in Pembrokeshire are very welcoming.

Getting Here

The services at the end of the M4 (Pont Abraham, Junction 49) has an Ecotricity DC and AC fast charge point installed.  After that, the journey to Dial Cottage is 45 miles - 25 of which are on dual carriageway, with the remaining 20 on a very decent road.

There is now one more set of rapids, situated just outside Carmarthen. Three chargers are stutated in the park-and-ride car park at Nant-y-Ci - Type 2, CHAdeMO and CCS.  From there the journey is only another 29 miles.

While You're Here

When you arrive you will then have the option of charging up straight away if you want to get out again that evening, and you'll not have to worry about any charging issues for the time of your stay.   All of Pembrokeshire will be easily accessible to you without the need to spend time finding charge points, which are presently few and far between in this area.

Please do browse through the rest of this web site.  It isn't complete yet, but even if you aren't staying with us I've started to list some activities and visits that you might be interested in if you're coming on holiday to South Pembrokeshire.

These charging sockets are the result of chatting to the kind folks on speakev.com.  Many thanks to them.
