Dial Cottage is a self-catering cottage in a village setting, very close to Freshwater East bay, pictured above. If you'd like to come to Pembrokeshire and stay in comfortable self-catering accommodation that's happy to accept a dog, and isn't situated in a holiday camp, then you need look no further.
We love dogs. Your little friend is very welcome to come to stay, and will enjoy the nearby open spaces available to walk and run.
Dial Cottage has no garden or yard. The small area at the back of the house doesn't belong to us and can only be used for access to the bin, and there is no front garden. However, there are several areas nearby that are suitable for taking a dog for a walk, but it may have to be on a lead.
Directly across the road is the Bishop’s Garden. This comprises a circular seated area, plus a large grassed area with trees behind. The only people we see using this are walking their dog, plus a few visitors looking for a hidden geocache. The semicircle of seating makes it a decent place to sit out in the evening.
For a slightly longer walk many local people take their dogs down the road towards the Bishop’s Palace. The lane does have traffic visiting the local hotel .If you go into the walled enclave (entry is free, and dogs are officially welcome on a lead) you'll usually get a large grassy area all to yourself.
Freshwater East has no restrictions on dogs.
