The Dial Inn next door welcomes dogs into its beer garden, but you may wish to venture further.  The information below is correct in August 2018, but before making plans you might like to give these places a ring to check to see what they can offer?

Lamphey Hall Hotel is less than a minute's walk from Dial Cottage.  They welcome dogs into their Bistro Bar, but in summer do ring in advance to make sure of getting a table.  01646 672394. 

The Carew Inn (in Carew!) is popular with local people and visitors alike.  They mainly serve straightforward food,  freshly prepared, and they even make their own chips! 01646 651267

Freshwater Inn is situated above Freshwater East beach.  To reach it, when you get to the turn to the hill down to the beach, don't turn. Just carry straight on. 01646 672828

The Royal George (no website) is sited next to the Mill Pond car park in Pembroke, with a convenient car park outside. 01646 686819

The Stackpole Inn (in Stackpole) serves good food.  Dogs are allowed in the back bar, and in better weather the full menu is also available outside, in their beer garden.  01646 672324

Under new management but still dog-friendly is The Old Point House in Angle. Before a meal you can always walk up to the RNLI lifeboat station to look across the estuary  and perhaps see one of the largest ships on the planet?  Don't worry, it's not a long walk! 01646 641205

Though I've never visited St. Govan's Inn in Bosherston I believe that it lets dogs into one side of the bar. 01646 661311
