We've tried to equip the cottage with appliances that are straightforward and easy to use, but sometimes intuition isn't enough and so we've included manufacturer's user guides. Original paper versions of these guides can also be found in the top left hand drawer of the living room sideboard.
To help answer questions like "Is there a garlic press, and if so, where is it found?" there is also a detailed inventory in the top left hand drawer of the sideboard in the living room.
Electric Shower - Mira Sport Max 10.8kW. This shower has the power to match a gas boiler, and provides endless hot water as quickly as possible; select the boost control to force air through the shower if you wish to increase its cleaning power.
Heated Towel Rail -There's a full size towel rail with sufficient space for four people's towels. It keeps the bathroom warm, and is best left switched on. It is thermostat controlled.
Bathroom Mirror - move your hand underneath and the infrared sensor will turn the lights in this mirror on and off. To the left there is a safe connector for toothbrushes and shavers, and to the right there is a heater switch so you never need have a misted-up mirror.
